This is Jenny Zeng, Managing Director of Unidea Limited based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. I have been appointed as the organizer in Europe for 2011 Adoption Family Summer Camp In China to mark the 20th anniversary of the introduction of the Chinese Adoption Law. This is a wonderful opportunity for families who have adopted children from China to travel with their children in the country of their birth. Participants will start in Beijing and travel to Xishuangbanna, in the province of Yunnan, ending their trip in Kunming. They will learn about China’s traditions, geography and history through visits to various attractions. Families will spend the first four days in Beijing participating in specially designed programs for parents and children such as exchange activities with local Chinese students and Shaolin Kungfu show. The Adoption Family Summer Camp is offered through us in partnership with Qiaoban (Department of Culture and Education) China Overseas Exchange Association, People’s Republic of China. The majority of the expenses incurred in China will be paid by Qiaoban and each family will only need to contribute small amount of money plus their own international airfare.
The attached (PDF) is an information pack with all the details about the trip and I wonder if you could help to circulate around in your society and through your contacts. Many thanks.
